कर्नाटक के आईटी मंत्री प्रियांक खड़गे ने मंगलवार को भारत की पहली उद्योग-आधारित डिजिटल डिटॉक्स पहल, “बियॉन्ड स्क्रीन” की शुरुआत की। यह पहल अखिल भारतीय गेमिंग महासंघ (AIGF) और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, आईटी, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी और विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के सहयोग से जिम्मेदार गेमिंग और डिजिटल उपभोग को बढ़ावा देती है।
इसका उद्देश्य संतुलित प्रौद्योगिकी उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करके डिजिटल लत से लड़ना है। इस पहल की घोषणा GAFX 2025 (गेम्स, एनिमेशन और विजुअल इफेक्ट्स) में की गई और इसमें एक समर्पित डिजिटल डिटॉक्स सेंटर और वेबसाइट शामिल है।

Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge launched India’s first industry-led digital detox initiative, “Beyond Screens”, on Tuesday. The initiative promotes responsible gaming and digital consumption in collaboration with the All India Gaming Federation (AIGF) and the Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology, and Science and Technology.
It aims to combat digital addiction by encouraging balanced technology use. The initiative was announced at GAFX 2025 (Games, Animation and Visual Effects) and includes a dedicated digital detox centre and website.
