10+2 or above educated eligible youth will get Rs. 1000/- per month as Unemployment Allowance while physically challenged (having 50% or more permanent disability) unemployed youth will get Rs. 1500/- per month for the duration of 2 years

HP Unemployment Allowance Eligibility Criteria
1 She/He should be unemployed (i.e neither employed in Govt. Sector nor in private sector nor self employed) and should be Bonafide Himachali.
Himachal Pradesh Unemployment Allowance
2 She/He should have passed minimum 10+2 from any Board/University/Institution recognized by H.P. Government.
3 She/He should be registered with any Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh as on the date of application since one year.
4 Her/His annual family income for the financial year immediately preceding date of application, from all sources including that of spouse should be less than Rs. Two Lakhs.
5 She/He should be above 20 years and below 35 years of age, as on date of application.
6 She/He should not be self employed.
7 She/He should not be dismissed Government Employee
8 She/He should not be convicted of any offence resulting in imprisonment for a period of 48 hours or more
9 She/He should not be regular student pursuing any course.
10 She/He should not be availing Skill Development Allowance
