TGT teachers appointed on a contract basis in Himachal Pradesh have received a major relief. Following a High Court order and the state government’s approval, the Directorate of School Education has issued instructions to provide eligible TGTs with the benefits of the revised pay scale from January 1, 2016, until they are regularized.
